We hope others will do the same, so that we can all enjoy and get the most from the limited time we have trolling. As we are sure everyone will understand, in the days just before a competition we may limit information.

Sunday, Dec. 6th. Vänern, Måken
Today was the reserve day for LMC and the weather was calmer. The competition started and we went back to Måken. This time we fished further west in deeper water. The days result was a pike around 7kg, a wild salmon around 65cm and a 66cm salmon that we could weigh in. We came 17th. Best today was being part of a new competition's history.

Saturday, Dec. 5th. Vänern Måken
The LMC competition was unfortunately moved to the reserve day Sunday because of rough weather. The other members in the Team from Norway and Finland had come along way to fish, so we decided to fish in Lee (lä) at Måken. It was a short day's fishing and the result was one salmon in the cooler that was about 70cm long. Best was discussing fishing methods with Mika from VK-Trolling.

November 15. Vänern
Today was the last of six competitions in FK Trollspöts club tournament. I took my son with me and we went back to Måken where we fished Kållandsöträffen last weekend. The fish were still there! The days result was one wild salmon around 6kg, one under size salmon and 3 "godkända" salmon 66cm, 70cm & 75cm that we took back to weigh in. We fished best today and took top points. Best today was fishing with my seven-year-old son ;-)

Kållandsöträff November 6-8.
On Friday we went to Måken and put in. Our tactic was to fish one side with plastic baits and the other side with löja in VK baitholders at a speed of 2.7-2.9 knots. After some hours we had had contact with two fish on the löja and no contact yet on the plastic baits. We decided to fish with just löja. We fished that same place with löja in the same VK baitholders at that same fast speed all 3 days. We caught 5 “godkända” fish, lost a big öring 1 meter from the net and took 5 other small fish between 50-61cm. Our tactic worked and we won the competition!

Fyra under mått och en Vild ca: 70cm.
Två godkända laxar med hem.
Blyat och oblyat djuprigg och ytan.

Hej!
Vi var med på trolling träff i Sunnanå igår, vi fick en lax på 4,12 kg vid Hindensfyr, hög på en hel ny köpt Strike Pro.
Vi kom på tjugonde plats.

Both Wednesday and Thursday have produced only pike. Now we know where we shall not fish ;-)

October 10th, Vänern Dalsbosjön
Blydonkern joined me today and we tried our luck in a few different places in Vänern. The days result was a pike, a 61cm trout and a 66cm salmon. We released the trout and kept the salmon for Blydonkern to take home to Norway. Best today was definitely having Blydonkern in the boat again, he's a great guy!
According to reports fishing was good for most boats out on Vänern and it didn't matter where the boats were they caught fish. Looks like the winter fishing season has started ;-)

Började dagen med 3m vågor och avslutade med spegelblankt, körde med plast på fm och löja på em. Fick en Gädda Fm och en vildlax på EM. käka kokt korv på Fm och Gulaschsoppa på Em. Körde Kinneviken på Fm och Dalbosjön på EM. Jonas Englund drillade FM och Thomas Andersson drillade på EM. Omväxlande med andra ord...........
Tack Thomas och Jonas för en trevlig dag på sjön.

Lake Bolmen
We trolled for 4 hours today in fantastic weather. The fishing was also good . We caught many fish but most were small. We took 2 fish home with us.
